ORGANIC VINEYARD, EMILIANA, IS NOW B CORP AND JOINS THE WORLD’S LEADING SUSTAINABILITY COMPANIES
In a new step towards a more sustainable viticulture, Viña Emiliana obtained the B Corp Certification. This international accreditation highlights the world’s largest organic winery as a company that meets high standards of social, environmental and economic impact.
Cristián Rodríguez, General Manager at Viña Emilia, points out the importance of this achievement: “The B Corp Certification is a milestone that validates our comprehensive approach and our effort to be proactive in addressing social and environmental problems. Known worldwide for its high-quality organic and biodynamic wines, Emiliana not only measures its impact through the B Impact Assessment. It also implements continuous improvements, acting as an agent of positive economic change.
With this new certification, Viña Orgánica Emiliana reaffirms its commitment to excellence and sustainability, promising to lead the way towards a more sustainable future for the wine industry, contributing significantly to the planet’s well-being. Viña Emiliana is celebrating its 25th anniversary since starting -in 1998- one of the most important innovations for the Chilean wine industry by converting 100% of its 1,000 hectares to organic agriculture.
