Novas renews its image inspired by the stars, highlighting the themes of natural and organic

The image of an old astronomical map, with blue tones and a line that shows the birth of a new star, what ancient astronomers called a nova, now symbolizes the new label design of Viña Emiliana for our line of Gran Reserva organic wines.

Stefania Perciavalle, Emiliana’s Brand Manager, highlights that the inspiration for this new image was the observation of the elements in nature, the same inspiration that winemakers have had when exploring and learning about the world of organic agriculture and biodiversity. “Novas is a tribute to the natural and organic, reflected in this symbol of when a star is born. It’s an homage to this great line of wines,” she added.

The Novas portfolio of wines includes 6 classic grape varieties from the most renowned valleys in Chile: Carmenere/Cabernet Sauvignon from Colchagua; Cabernet Sauvignon from Maule; and Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Pinot Noir from Casablanca.

To these varieties we have added 5 new wines that complement the line of Gran Reserva, Novas Stellar Selection. This is a selection of unique varieties, principally Mediterranean in origin, with limited stock, representing that principal “stars” of each valley: Garnacha–Syrah from Rapel; Syrah–Mourvedre from Cachapoal; Riesling from Bío-Bío; and two new innovations: a red blend from Maule and a Sauvignon Blanc with 6 months of oak aging.
