CRISTIAN RODRÍGUEZ

General Manager The leader of Emiliana

He can always be found working in the fields, the cellars, and the offices. Not a small task, for the General Manager of the largest organic winery in the world. It’s a lot of responsibility, but he loves it. He joined the company in 2004 as the Export Manager for Europe, and in 2008 became the Commercial Director. In 2014, he was named General Manager of the winery, and his mission is to promote organic agriculture all over the world.

CRISTIAN UBILLA

Finance

The man behind the numbers, he’s responsible for making sure everything “adds up” at Emiliana, from an administrative and financial point of view. Because of course, while Emiliana is a fun organization, at the end of the day it’s a winery that competes in markets all over the world, and his numbers are very important. Cristián has been with the winery for more than 9 years.

SEBASTIÁN TRAMON

Sustainability

Sebastián, alias “Capitan Planet”, has one of the most fun jobs, but also the most complex, at Emiliana. On the one hand, he’s responsible for sustainability at Emiliana, supervising our organic and biodynamic certifications. He also oversees our corporate social responsibility, fair trade, environmental projects while also spearheading any investigative initiatives.

ANDRÉS APARICIO

Agriculture

The overseer of everything from the land to the agricultural machinery, Andrés is responsible for ensuring that Emiliana’s fields can produce the best wines. He has been our Agricultural Manager since 2014, and studied agronomy and winemaking in France.

ALEJANDRO MITARAKIS

Marketing

He’s probably the most organic person in his winemaking family. Nano, as he’s affectionately known, has the image of Emiliana to carry on his shoulders, a task that involves him in all of the aspects of the brand, from the labels to publicity. He joined the winery in 2009, obtained his MBA in 2012, worked for the winery in the USA for a year, before he became the Marketing Manager.

NOELIA ORTS

Winemaker

Noe is part of the inner workings of Emiliana. In her role as winemaker for Signos de Origen, Coyam, and Gê, she’s been put in the spotlight. A natural traveler, today she divides her time and passion between the Fundo Los Robles, where her family is, and traveling around the world working harvests and studying winemaking. Noe graduated from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia with a degree in Viticulture and Winemaking.

EMILIO CONTRERAS

Winemaking

Graduated as an agricultural engineer and winemaker, Emilio has been part of our winery’s winemaking team since 2007. Like all those who comprise Emiliana’s family, he is a huge promotor of organic agriculture.

Today he is mainly in charge of the Adobe and Novas ranges. But he also organizes and coordinates our harvest and oversees the wide variety of blends from our different origins between Casablanca and Biobío.

JOSÉ OLIVARES

Agriculture

Organic wine has run in José’s veins for more than 40 years. He has been part of the Emiliana family since its beginnings, accompanying founder José Guilisasti on his tours through the fields and cellars. Currently he’s the assistant to the Agricultural Manager, Andrés Aparicio.

JUAN PABLO LECAROS

Winemaking

Juan Pablo is an Agricultural Engineer–Winemaker with post-graduate studies in Operations Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. As Winemaking Operations Manager for Emiliana, he is in charge of directing the operations of all of our cellars. His function within the team is to ensure that the vinification and elaboration of our wines meet the highest standards of quality with efficiency, productivity, and with respect for our environment.

LORENA PARDO

Production

Lorena studied International Business and has post-graduate studies in Logistics Management for Production and Distribution from USACH (Universidad de Santiago de Chile).
She arrived at Emiliana in the International Business area, and is currently the Assistant Manager for the Production area, responsible for the functioning of the production area of the winery, leading the planning and control for bottling and labeling our wines, ensuring the quality of the final product and the complete satisfaction of our clients.

ARMANDO REBOLLEDO

Agriculture

Since he came across biodynamic agriculture, there was no turning back. Armando became indispensable in these processes, and has continued specializing in the area in Argentina and Brazil. Today he’s responsible for the biodynamic preparations and the agricultural practices of Emiliana. He joined the winery in 1992, and he has been a fundamental part of Emiliana’s transformation.

ALEJANDRO SMITH

Sales

Alejandro is an Agricultural Engineer. He joined Emiliana at the beginning of 2019 after achieving an MBA in the UK and worked in New York for the Chilean wine industry. After being the Export Director for the entire American continent, he assumes the position of Global Sales Manager with the mission of positioning Emiliana’s brands globally and continuing to represent the organic values of the winery around the world. His connection to Emiliana stems from his commitment to organic agriculture: “I am proud to represent Emiliana in different markets and to show the world that it is possible to balance product quality with environmental care and, above all, without neglecting social responsibility.”
