2 November 2020

Another important milestone in Emiliana’s history took place recently, with the release of American wine critic James Suckling’s new Chile annual report, where he highlighted the “fantastic quality” of Emiliana’s wines, as he awarded Gê 98 points, placing Emiliana’s icon wine among the top 5 wines in Chile.

In his annual report, titled “Chile’s Value Offering is Established,” Suckling applauded what the world’s largest organic winery is doing, emphasizing the organic and biodynamic agriculture, as well as our respect for the Earth and our people and communities.

Gê 2017 was not the only wine to surprise, with its 98 points, as Coyam 2018 received 95 points, Signos de Origen Syrah 94 points, Signos de Origen Pinot Noir with 93 points, and there was a special mention for Salvaje, our natural wine project with no added sulphites, which received 94 points.

“Biodynamic farming is indeed one of the highlights of Chile that we should not overlook, been Emiliana a great world referent”, commented the critic in his report.

Suckling visited Chile in February 2020, where he tasted close to one thousand wines, highlighting the quality and enthusiasm of the local producers.
