Descorchados Highlighted Gê and 57 Rocas among the best wines of its 2023 edition

As for 57 Rocas Malbec 2020, a new wine that will be reaching the markets at the beginning of 2023, it was ranked as “Revelation” with 94 points. In addition to these acknowledgments, Coyam 2020 got 94 points, the new vintage of Signos de Origen Syrah 93 points, and Maycas del Limarí Chardonnay 2021, 93 points.

The consolidation of Gê in Descorchados, -in addition to the wines of Emiliana acknowledged as revelation by the experts who prepare the guide- are of great value for Noelia Orts, Emilio Contreras, and Marguerite Penot, the winemaker’s team of the vineyard. In their opinion, “they show a consistent work which has allowed our different brands to obtain outstanding scores and recognitions throughout the years.”

“This also proves how organic and biodynamic farming can affect to improve the quality of our wines,” indicated Noelia Orts. She added that it is of immense value that “the guide also highlighted our new projects, such as 57 Rocas or Maycas Chardonnay, which are wines that we are presenting for the first time in this guide and which are already giving us great joys with these high scores”.

In line with the latter, Emilio Contreras appreciated the recognition that the new projects, such as 57 Rocas, Animalia Sauvignon Blanc and Natural Blend are already receiving. “We are very happy that these wines are gaining momentum from the beginning, as this confirms that we are on the right track,” he said.

In addition to emphasizing the consolidation of a wine like Gê, Marguerite Penot points out that the valuation of the new projects “shows us that we are able to continue innovating and making different and qualitative things,” she stated.
